Bhavana as a Police Officer in ‘POLYTECHNIC’
Polytechnic is a film directed by M.Pathmakumar in which Kunchako Boban appears in the role of comrade Poly. Bhavana is the heroine in this film,in the role of a police SI and she’s first time appearing in
the role of a police officer. They both are loving each other and the movie runs through the humorous incidents happening in their life. This is Poly, a young comrade who is an utter leftist politician. He have a friend Bakkar, who is also a politician and they both were classmates.Aju Varghese introduces
the charecter Bakkar.Poly’s childhood friend & lover Aswathy (Bhavana) is taking charge of the Sub Inspector of police at their native village.Aswathy’s father Sukumaran Nair was the panchayath president & the opponent of Poly. Here starts the story. Comrade Varghese,father of Poly, was a soldier.He had sacrificed his life for the nation in a terrorist attack held at Mumbai.Thus his family was given with a compensation of Rs.30 lakh by the Govt.Poly & Bakkar has decided to start a business using this mount.This is one side.On the other side,Poly is in deep love with the daughter of his political opponent and who is also the SI of police.The problems arising by their love and the technics they selected to solve those issues are the twists in the movie. Vijayaraghavan appears as Sukumaran Nair.Suraj Venjarammoodu,Sadiq,Sunil sugatha,Dr.Rani,Jojo,Joy Mathew,Niyas Bakkar are the other main actors. Nishad Koya,who bacame famous through the film Ordinary,is writing the screenplay fof this film.Gopi Sundar compossing the music for the lines written by Rajiv Nair. Kala.S.Nair produces the movie introduced
by Mrinalini Gandhi.The shooting will start by November first week at Kollengode and surrounding areas.
